Leo, on Leoparents request, is taken into hospital.

He gets to the “Clinic of Anaesthesiology and Intensive TROUTMENT*”

(At least that’s what it says on a board stuck to the door with a piece of scotch).
Doctors will examine him on the account of his oxygen saturation drops, convulsions and faints.

What’s comforting is that Leouncle T.H. (for the insiders – M.K. ;-) )
has found out from Doctor Google that Ondine does sometime bestow her chosen ones with fits.
Fortunately, only during infancy; later they usually go away.
* According to a well-knwn and resected scientist – dr J.U.,
the word “treatment” stems directly from the word “trouble”, together forming “troutment”.

PS. Why does it have to be that Dr Google is the main informant of Leofamily?

The tests do not show any changes in the brain
that would lead to epilepsy.

Leo makes his screen debut as protagonist of documentary film “Curse”,
directed by Leodad, Tomek Śliwiński.

Unfortunately, another case of fits occurs.
Fear of epilepsy…

From the beginning of July Leo has been on holiday!
He spends all days walking in the woods
(with the ventilator packed in a basket on the bottom of the pram),
lying on the grass, searching for squirrels, hedgehogs, boars, cows, goats and horses,
and dipping feet in the lake!


The idyllic atmosphere is interrupted by drastic and unexpected losses in saturation
which occur every morning…

Leo has a friend – doe Christina.

Unfortunately, nobody believes the Leofamily in her existence(!).
Crowds of non-believers go to Łazienki Park to meet Christina,
but when she sees Leo coming in a bigger group, she disappears into thin air…

Yet, when she stays alone with Leo – she becomes absolutely friendly :-)


Good news from the neurologist!!!

Apart from decreased muscle tension,
the doctor doesn’t recognise any other bigger problems.
All reactions are correct and Leo is developing normally.
Big hello to Dr W. (MD) from The Children’s Memorial Health Institute,
who almost killed Leoparents with her earlier rash diagnosis.

The neurologist commissions an MRI test just in case.

On 31st May and 18th June two concerts for Leo took place in Tricity:
Alternative For Leo and Folk for Leo.
Unfortunately, Mr Leo, despite true willingness, was not able to honour
the events with his presence; however he carefully studied
the whole programme and would hereby like to solemnly thank everybody!
Leoparents not a bit less solemnly join the acknowledgments and thanks!

Leo loses consciousness.

His heart and breathing activity doesn’t stop, but there is no contact.

His limbs are completely flabby, he’s like a rag doll; as if all life escaped from him.
After long minutes of tugging and screaming, he comes back.

The conclusive examination of hearing potentials.
A difficult one, as it is done during sleep.
We have to put the baby to sleep in the doctor’s office, which is undoable.
Every time we’re almost there, Leo wakes up because of the sound of the ventilator turning on
or the attempt to put electrodes on his forehead and in his ears.
We play like this for two hours.

The line in the hall gets longer and longer,
the lady who operates the equipment drinks five coffees,
Leomum dozes off on a couch…


Finally, we succeed…
