Leo spent a week in Kashubia, where apart from exploring the texture,
smell and consistence of pig snouts, he has gained others,
completely new and invaluable experiences, such as:
– Running in the rain (barefoot);
– Swimming in a lake with his dad (in deep water);
– Building and setting a bonfire;
– Eating raspberries plucked directly from the bush;
– Sleeping in the grass, under the open sky;
– Reaching the highest peak in the region – Wieżyca Mountain
(and a tower that is built on its top);
– Defeating gravitation completely by learning how to run on ceilings!
Where did it come from? Who did he take it after?
He always has to have it his way! When the parents walk,
he stops; when they sit, he runs away; they go right,
he goes left; they go forward, he goes back.
He will not follow anyone, he will set the direction himself,
he will choose the toy himself, he will decide himself,
and he will put the butter on his slice of bread himself…
Because I say so.
Or I don’t.
Everything upside-down, in contrary,
differently, the way he wants,
nobody will tell him what to do and when.
Can it be that it’s genetic determination?
Or maybe it will pass?
It doesn’t take much, just that Leo is a bit more… grumpy, weepy, apathetic, nervous, sweaty (…). That he sleeps longer or doesn’t have much of an appetite. Or that he stares longer in one direction. And the demons from the long list of Ondine’s bonuses wake up right away in Leoparents’ minds.
A voice in the back of their heads whispers:
He’s got a stomach ache – it’s neuroblastoma, or better yet the Hirschprung’s disease;
he doesn’t react to what he’s told to do – autism;
he stares – epilepsy…
And so on, every day, every hour, minute, second
– increased watchfulness, observation, anxiety.
Living on a stand-by mode.

Leo received a truly royal treatment (for which he thanks Leoaunt!):
No i, jak zawsze w czasie And, as always on his trips, he has gained a whole bunch of new experiences:

No i, jak to zawsze z Nim bywa, po takiej dawce wrażeń, zrobił wielki krok do przodu: he consciously said his first word!!!!!!
Not "mama”, not "tata”, not "baba”, or "am", not "cheese”, not „Leo”...
This word is a “no”. Simply “no” :)
P.S. Come to think of it, it is a very useful skill. Some of us never learn it. :)
Having been educated in the field of art since his very early years, Leo burst into tears when he saw he lying head made by Mr Mitoraj on the Cracow Old Town Square. Luckily, his despair didn’t take long, and the crushing aesthetic experiences had soon been forgotten – outshone by the main attraction of the city that became a source of unquestionable euphoria!!!
P.S. Leoparents don’t share this particular Leo’s admiration for pigeons.
Despite the appearances Leo peregrinations were not of sacral nature.
Leo didn’t go to visit a monastery, or a convent, nor a sanctuary…
But still, it was divine!
Leo, for the first time in his life, has been to the mountains! And it turned out it’s possible to take Him and His equipment and wander on mountain trails. And from this new perspective from Beskidy, the Leoparents’ past trekking trips in Africa and Papua (with tropical mud up to their waists) started to seem rather easy ;)
Moreover, apart from dragging Leo’s equipment around, Leofamily was busy with tracing and documenting tracks left by UFO. Leoaunt has discovered a perfectly round, grown over by strange grass, and emitting warmth imprint in the ground. Seriously!!!
Maybe radiation of cosmic energy will help him to deal with the curse...
