Here it comes…
In big leaps…
Rebellion of the two-year-old!!! :-)
Mr Leo went to the ZOO.
What he liked most was a common roof cat.
The elephant, even though it was standing really close, was not noticed.
What’s more, Leo came to a conclusion that Leoparents’ company is useless,
and that he will see everything alone.
So he left them and went on a tour.

Unfortunately…
In the effect of increasing breathing inefficiency
Leo’s favourite teddy bear Horacio, had to undergo a tracheotomy.
The procedure was successful, and the patient feels fine.
Currently, he is under mindful and professional care
of his friend Leo.
Leo himself washes the teddy bear’s fur around the tracheotomy tube,
sucks out the mucus and administers appropriate medicines.
Leo is 1,5 year today, 2,5 of which he spent in an induced coma,
and over 4 months in the hospital on ICU.
Now, he takes his first steps (16!);
he can build multi-storey buildings out of building blocks,
put cutlery in and out of the dishwasher, eat with a fork,
go up and down the stairs from the first floor
(a few times in a row),
blackmail Leoparents,
manipulate Leoparents;
he knows where the head, nose, ear, belly, legs,
fingers and toes, tongue and socks are;
he can operate pulse oxymeter,
inhalator
and partly ventilator
(except for turning it off, thank God);
he loves to eat everything in any form
(radish, black olives, pickled cucumbers, gazpacho);
he has created many versions of peek-a-boo!
(He can hide even behind his own brow ridge);
he hates sitting on the grass; he doesn’t accept an orator;
he doesn’t speak (although he did say “no” twice),
but still gives everybody orders and pushes them around.
He weighs 13 kg!
And he looks forward into the future with a big smile! :-)
As ladies as well as gentlemen do some things in private,
today’s Leosuccess is not going to be announced here.
Leofamily will descretely leave it
behind closed doors (of a the toilet).
In Leofamily washing the dishes belongs to the gentlemen,
which means another shocking symptoms of love for cleanness and order ;-)
.
Another surprise.
Leo is a pedant!
It took only a moment of Leoparents’ distraction,
and he put all his building blocks in the washing machine,
closed it,
set it for delicate fabric, 30 degrees
and turned it on!!!
In order to examine the 17-month-old Leo’s hearing four people are required:
three to hold him and one to run the test
(involving guessing, clapping, singing, etc.)
The result makes us quickly forget the nightmare,
as according to what the doctor says “it’s perfect!”
