Leomom sits at preschool corridor,
staring at her laptop screen (yes, Leomom attends preschool with her son).
Suddenly she raises her eyes.
There is a beautiful personage in front of her.
Fairhaired.
Blue-eyed.
Slender.
Pretty.
Young (approximately thirtysomething yuonger than Leomom).
The personage looks deep into Leomom's eyes.
- Leo is my boyfriend, she announces.

Preschool, day one.
Here comes the preschooler!!!
A full-time preschooler!!!

photo (12)
A portrait of a preschooler with his shoe bag.

Day one is over. It went smoothly. At least for him.
Contrary to his parents, who were wery concerned.
Pierwszy dzień już za Leo. Poszło bezstresowo. Przynajmniej dla Niego.
Bo Leorodzice byli bardzo przejęci :)

In Leos' life some things develop at a reverse pace.
Differently.
For example last summer he learnt to write.
On his own.

Leo can also copy words.
Leoparents were surprised to discover, among his numerous notes, the hand written prase: Lublin Cider.

Leo's summer was all about water.
First, there was the rainy holiday in mountains,
then the sunny, but still watery stay in the Kaszuby Lake District.
If only it was up to Leo to decide, he wouldn't get out of the lake.
At all.
He also did kayaking and pedalling in a pedal boat.
The climax took place at the end of August.
Leo took his first boat trip.
On the sea.
He was bewildered.

P.S.
Bohaterem ostatnich dni jest Stef, który biegł dla Leo.
Z Częstochowy do Łodzi.
Spod Sanktuarium do Piwoteki ;-)
Od piątku do niedzieli.
Pokonał 139 kilometrów (z hakiem) w 30 godzin i 45 minut.

It turned out that doing nothing
is something that Leofamily is very good at.
As describing it is against the foundations and effectiveness of procrastination
the holiday entry will be limited to a few snapshots taken with a mobile,
as the camera is having some rest, too.

For some time Leo has pretended to be a cat.
He starts a day with a long miaow.
He miaows from dawn till dusk,
demanding stroking.
He feeds on mice, fish and milk.
Ha has paws, whiskers and a snout
and a sense of being an adorable creature with irresistible charm.
Every few days he changes his identity from a tiny cat to a big dog.
One morning he wakes up a hen, another morning - as a tiger.
Leoparents view him as yet someone else.

Tuchola Forest
A forest hut.
Forty kilometers to he nearest hospital.
A storm.
Leo's sleep time.
A short break in electricity supply is a priceless experience,
which puts all other things in the right order of importance.
Poorly reproduced photographic prints, a cancelled photo-shoot
or unfinished theatre decorations are suddenly remotely banal and unworthy of stress.

Leo passed the second week of July in the mountains.
It rained constantly for a week.
An alternative to mountain hiking was badly needed.
So Leofamily headed to Wieliczka Salt Mine.
It was cool, although the 800 steps down the mine, the walk 135 meters underground,
the mysterious lakes, the maze of corridors and steps, as well salt floors left Leo unimpressed.
He was attracted to something else.
It made him utter a cry of excitement.
Cobblestone!
Exactly like the one in front of our house - Leo remarked.

Can a tiny bit of gauze be lethal?
It seems so.
Especially, in the busy little hands with smart little fingers,
capable of neatly stuffing it into the ventilator tube, then covering it with a filter.
In effect, the ventilator functions well,
the patient is ventilated properly (with slightly increased ventilating parameters).
However, in an unlikely case of tube disconnecting the gauze would absorb all the air,
thus tricking the ventilator's alarm system. Confused, the ventilator would not set the alarm off.
Without the alarm on nobody would know
that the patient is disconnected from the ventilating tube.

And then..you know…
Fortunately, Leoparents figured out on time that something did not tick.
A quick investigation lead to a hidden ball of gauze.
The culprit pleaded guilty.
Promising, that he would never ever suff anything in the tube.
No, he couldn't promise that he would ever do anything like that.
There is no guarantee.
That is, the culprit gave his word,
but Leoparent don't quite believe him.
The convidene place in the culprit is limited.
